Recognizing the special requirements that inflatable boat makers have for edge protection, Barbour Plastics Inc introduces our new non-migrating plasticizer for our Flexible PVC Rub Strakes, Chafes, and other edge protectors. This allows for a more durable bond without the threat of a field failure due to plasticizer migration, which could attack the adhesive over time causing delamination or bubbling. Rub strake is an important class of rub rail to offer our customers when the necessity to design light high speed boats becomes more in demand.
